Daniel Kleinman
My greatest sense of fulfillment comes from helping others succeed. With experience in ocean technology, innovation and entrepreneurship, and mentorship, I enjoy getting to work to solve big blue problems affecting 71% of the planet. I'm known for balancing being visionary and humble, while backing it up with knowledge, resources, and humor. I openly admit I don't know everything, but take pride in either knowing someone who can help, or thinking on my feet well enough to lead through difficult situations.
About Daniel
Daniel Kleinman is the Founder & CEO of Seaworthy Collective, as well as a regenerative systems thinker and marine roboticist who has piloted, tested, and designed unmanned underwater vehicles for ocean science, exploration, and naval research. Daniel received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida, and his Master of Professional Science in Exploration Science from the University of Miami Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science. Daniel also served as a Navy contractor in San Diego, where he spent 3 years working in mechanical engineering for maritime systems. In 2020, Daniel founded Seaworthy Collective in Miami, Florida, to overcome the silos he and fellow environmentally passionate changemakers faced by building the community and programs to support current and aspiring innovators driving regenerative ocean and climate impact.
Daniel also serves as an advisor for Opportunity Miami and The Shrimp Society, as well as a steering committee member for Ocean Visions’ Global Ecosystem for Ocean Solutions and The World Climate Tech Summit. Daniel is also an active member of The Explorers Club and Global Shapers Miami Hub.
